Aunt Flo wants you to upgrade

When it comes to your moon time, time of the month, period, menstruation, red badge of courage, visit from Aunt Flo, checking into the Red Roof Inn, or whatever you call it, one thing remains the same:

We need coverage!

Traditional pads and tampons are starting to get a bad wrap, as they should. The chemicals they use to make them are incredibly toxic! Some of which include known carcinogens. Even the new period panties have questionable ingredients. And the last thing you want to do is put them in or on your skin for your body to soak up all the toxins within seconds.

Enter: Cleaner options!

I switched over products about 5 years ago. It was actually my husband who somehow came across the silicone menstrual cups. (I don't even remember why, but the idea of saving money was appealing of course!)

So, I gave it a try, and never looked back!

Recently I tested out the menstrual disc, and here is my comparison!

If I had to pick a favorite, it honestly would be really hard, because they both have good benefits! So, if you were too creepily dig in my bathroom vanity drawers you will find both along with emergency organic tampons and pads!

Have you tried any of these? What about the reusable pads? Those I have yet to try!
